Education Trust seeks new governors

South Cumbria Multi-Academy Trust has launched a new drive to find trustees and governors from a wide range of background to support the education sector.

It has a range of vacancies across its six schools – Ormsgill, Vickerstown, Newbarns, Cambridge, South Walney Juniors and Chetwynde and on its Board of Trustees.

This rewarding role gives people an opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.

Trustees/Governors can be from a wide range of backgrounds and sign up to volunteer their time to help schools be the best they can be.

They help set and deliver objectives and as well as regular meetings they can be involved of in the life of the school.
